[Class 68 (i)] In a drip feed 1 to machines from a mains water supply 3, the water is passed through a filter 4 so that all the solid matter is removed from the water before it reaches the needle valve 2. Between the filter and the needle valve, a pressure-reducing valve 6 is fitted. All fittings in the system after the filter are made of a non-corrodible material in order to maintain the water physically clean.
