[Class 135] The body 5, Fig. 1, of a plug cock is made from a stainless steel casting and machined externally so that it has substantially the same average thickness of metal at any crosssection normal to the tapered bore 7. The body has flat end faces 15, 16, flat side faces 17, 18, Fig. 2, in planes normal to the planes containing the end faces and disposed on either side of, and parallel to, the tapered bore, and flat connecting faces 20 ... 23 also parallel to the tapered bore.
