[Class 60] A polishing &c. device comprises a casing 1 adapted to be held in the hand, an abrasive band 20 mounted on pulleys 10, 19 and driven by a compressed air motor 8 which is mounted on the casing 1 and is positioned within the pulley 10, and a movable member 16 carrying the pulley 19 and loaded by a spring 21 to maintain the band in tension. One side 4 of the casing is pivoted to permit removal of the band and the other side carries a pivoted finger control 25 for the valve. 13 of the motor 8.
