[Class 78 (iv)] [Also in Group XXXII] A refuse collecting vehicle with a container 3 pivoted to the rear end 5 of the vehicle has a hood 4 rotatable on the container 3 by.means of a pull element 15, fastened at 18 to the hood 4 and at 14 to the vehicle frame and is characterized in that the pivot axis 7 for the hood is arranged near the underside of the container 3 and the pull element 15 engages the hood 4 on the upper side-of the container. The hood 4 is provided with charging openings closed by slides or flaps 8 and a presser plate 11 actuated by a hydraulic cylinder 10.
