[Also in Group XXXII] A roof support and hand rail for an omnibus (see Group XXXII) comprises a short stanchion 13 loosely fitting at its upper end into a socket 19 screwed to the roof. A hollow piston member 17 riveted to the stanchion 13 carries a bush 29 of material known under the Registered Trade Mark as "Ferodo", and is slidable within the socket.
