Abstract

650,859. Vehicle roof lining. ROVER CO., Ltd. Sept. 23, 1948, No. 24883. [Class 20(iv)] A vehicle roof lining comprises a frame a adapted to be secured beneath the roof and a covering f of flexible material stretched over the underside of the frame to form a unit which can readily be placed in position in one piece. The frame may be curved longitudinally to conform with the shape of the roof, and may be reinforced by gussets at the corners and fitted with cross members which may also be curved. Lugs e are secured to the frame to receive the screws &c. which secure the frame to the roof. When required for a slidable roof the frame is made to correspond with the fixed portion of the roof, or may extend the length of the roof and have an uncovered aperture at the part coinciding with the slidable portion of the roof.
