[Class 84] In a milking-machine plant for a cow house, there is provided along the row or rows of stalls, a track rail or the like on which a frame or carriage is movable and a stationary milk conduit and a stationary vacuum conduit extending from a milk chamber to the row or rows of stalls, the plant being characterized by the carriage being provided with a plurality of teat cup units for simultaneous milking of a number of cows while the carriage occupies a predetermined position, there being also provided on the carriage a substantially horizontal milk conduit common to the said teat cup units and to which the milk tubes of the said teat cup units are connected, the said milk conduit being provided with a connecting device, such as a flexible tube, for connecting it to the stationary milk conduit at different points along the latter, the carriage being further provided with at least one pulsator, and preferably with a number of pulsators corresponding to the number of teat cup units, which pulsator or pulsators is or are connected to a device, such as a flexible tube for connecting it or them to the stationary vacuum conduit at different points along the latter, and to which pulsator or pulsators the vacuum tubes of the teat cup units are connected. In the embodiment of the invention shown in Figs. 2 and 3, the carriage 8 is provided with runner wheels 13 by means of which the carriage is suspended from and movable on the vacuum conduit 3 which serves as a track rail. Thisvacuum conduit is mounted on brackets 4 side by side with stationary milk conduit 2. The carriage is provided with devices such as hooks 18 for suspending the teat cup units on the carriage. The carriage is provided with a number of pulsators 14 which are connected to a substantially horizontal vacuum tube 10 which may be connected to the stationary vacuum conduit 3 by a flexible tube 20. Milk tube 11 is connected to the stationary milk tube 2 by a flexible tube 21.
