Abstract

841,338. Cow milkers. WESTFALIA SEPARATOR A. G. July 28, 1958 [Aug. 13, 1957], No. 24292/58. Class 84. The pulsator, teat-cup assembly and associated hoses of a milking machine are mounted upon a frame which may be detached from a point on the vacuum and milk supply lines at one cow stall and removed to a second stall, the frame being provided with a hook upon which the teat-cup assembly may be hung and with slots to receive the hoses thereby eliminating the chance of dropping the pulsator or teatcup assembly. As shown, the pulsator 5 is mounted on the frame 1 by fixing screw 6 and the frame is removed from the bracket 16 by rotation in an anticlockwise direction and sliding from the supporting pin 15. The vacuum hose 12 and milk supply hose 13 are detached from pipes 19 and 21 respectively and received in the teeth 11 of the frame 1 and the teat cup assembly 9 is hung from the hook 7.
