[Class 37] As shown, Fig. 2, an electricity supply meter mounting panel 1 is also the meter base plate and is composed of pressed material such as synthetic resin with moulded-in meter supports, terminals and connecting wires. The brackets 3, 4 which support the upper and lower bearings of the driving disc 5 may be independent inserts or projections of a single insert. This is similarly the case in regard to the pairs of studs which secure the voltage and current cores. The support for the brake magnet (not shown) is also an insert. The line and load connecting wires shown dotted 15, 16 are embedded and connected to the current and voltage terminals and to the main terminals 10 which are seated in the moulding as are the fixed parts of screw plug fuses 11. In a modification, Fig. 3, the terminals 10 and fuses 11 (the plugs 12 are shown) are enclosed in a recess in the panel 1. The meter proper is enclosed by a hinged cover 23 which is sealed to the panel 1 and is furnished with a ledge 31 against which abuts a flange 28 on the hinged plate 24 which covers the recess. The hole 29 in the flange 28 is entered by a screw projecting from the panel 1 ; a lead seal on this screw seals the cover 24 and cover 23. In Fig. 3 two of the panel fixing screws 32 are enclosed by the cover 24.
