632,587. Packing. ROSE, A. G., GILBERT, J. A., and ROSE BROS. (GAINSBOROUGH), Ltd. Feb. 7, 1947, No. 3625. [Class 94(i)] The open end of a bag of heat-sealing material partially filled with the commodity to. be packed, e.g. sweets, is so twisted as to form a twisted neck 14 and the bag is sealed by applying heat and pressure to the twisted portion forming the neck. The bag, which may be of transparent material, has a longitudinal heat-sealed seam 11 and a heat-sealed base 12 and the twisted neck 14 may be formed at a distance from the open end, the surplus material 17 above the seal being flattened fanwise.
