Abstract
632,550. Hand-stamps. MASON & SONS, Ltd., E. N., and MASON, B. Dec. 10, 1947, No. 32557. [Class 100 (ii)] A rubber stamp holder is constructed of a transparent material such as plastic, and has an upstanding portion 5, Figs. 2 and 8, while a slot 10 for a slip or card having an imprint of a rubber stamp to be mounted in the holder extends throughout the length of the holder. The base of the holder has grooves 2 for securing the stamp by adhesion and flanges 4 whose inner faces slope inwardly and downwardly to hold the stamp, the outer faces being similarly inclined or of convex or concave curvature. The portion 5 may be curved inwardly or outwardly with the slot central therein or near a concave face, or one face 6 may be flat or slightly concave, while the other face 7 is concave with a radius of half the height of the holder. The portion 5 may have a head 15, Fig. 8, accommodating the. slot. A hole 13 for supporting the holder on a peg is provided in the upper part of the portion 5. The portion 5 may be vertical, or slightly tilted and connected to the base by a curved portion. The holder may be moulded, extruded or cast.
