Abstract
1297897 Presser foot MEFINA SA 24 May 1971 [2 June 1970] 16598/71 Heading D1G A presser foot comprising a sole plate 1 pivoted at 2 to a support 3 has a portion 8 suspended from the pivot 2 and retractable upwardly against the action of the spring 11. The spring 11 is disposed in a housing 10 in the retractable portion, the housing being suspended from the pivot pin 2 by slotted lugs 9 and the spring abutting the pin 2. The sole and the portion 8 may be of plastics material. Stops 13, 14 co-operate with the housing to limit its oscillation about the pivot 2.
