Abstract

In a method of making shaped composite bodies (see Group XXII) a porous ferrous matrix is impregnated with an alloy comprising up to 5 per cent iron, up to 5 per cent manganese and if desired up to 5 per cent of nickel, chromium, silicon, phosphorus, titanium, the remainder being copper.
