In a method of impregnating a skeleton body of sintered iron with copper, the body is initially coated with copper using a solution of 5 gms. crystallised copper sulphate, 1 gm. sulphuric acid and 8 gms. of citric acid in one litre of water. Specification 727,457 [Group XXII] is referred to.
