631,976. Electric conduits; cable and wire couplings. PIERCE FOUNDATION, J. B. May 16, 1947, No. 13240. Convention date, Oct. 26, 1946. [Classes 36 and 38 (i)] A corner unit for a wiring system comprises an angular base-part 11, a complementary cover-part (not shown), each part being formed with complementary angular channels suitably shaped for the reception of conducting members 13, 14, said conducting members being formed with longitudinal stiffening flanges 13c, 14a. Each of the angular members 13, 14, carries binding-posts 13b, 14b to which conductors 22, 23 are connected. The body portion of the conductor carrying strip 21 is preferably of yieldable plastic insulating material and the angular base and cover parts of thermosetting plastic insulating material. The base and cover parts, which have recessed ends for the reception of the end portions of the conductorcarrying strips, are secured together as by screws, and the angular conducting members 13, 14 are thereby held securely in their respective channels.
