[Class 65 (ii)] [Also in Group XXXI] In a support for a cycle lighting dynamo 4 to which it is desired to impart angular movement after assembly, about a fulcrum and between two alternative positions the dynamo is rotatably carried by a bracket 2 and a spring 12 imparts a torsional force to the dynamo through one or more links 9 so that on rotation of the dynamo against the force the link or links is or are carried through a dead centre position to reverse the direction of the force circumferentially of the axis of rotation. As shown, the dynamo is provided with a sprigot 3 rotatable in the bracket 2. The links 9 are hingedly connected to the sprigot at diametrically opposed points. A semi-circular leaf spring 12 is mounted at its centre on the bracket 2 concentrically of the axis of rotation and has a force transmitting link 9 pivotally connected at each of its ends. The sprigot is provided with a radial arm 5 which projects through an aperture 6 in the base of the bracket 2 and impacts opposite ends of the aperture 6 to limit the angle through which the sprigot and dynamo may be rotated. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also the modification shown in Fig. 4 (Cancelled) in which the arm 5 is replaced by two arms 5<SP>1</SP> and 5<SP>2</SP> which project radially from the sprigot 3 and impact the base of the bracket 2 alternately. It comprises also a further modification in which the sprigot 3 is rigidly carried in the bracket 2 and the dynamo mounted on the sprigot, the links 9 being connected to a sleeve on the dynamo casing. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
