628,607. Weft feeler mechanism for looms. TRIGGS, W. W. (Crompton & Knowles Loom Works). Nov. 20, 1946, No. 34448. Drawings to Specification. [Class 142 (iii)] An electric weft detecting system comprises feelers which press against the weft on the bobbin and upon exhaustion of the weft cause alteration of the grid potential of an electronic tube and allow current to pass through the tube to cause a change in loom operation. The current passing through the tube operates a relay completing a circuit including a solenoid and thereby causes the change in loom operation.
