Abstract
628,512. Stoppers. ATKIN, D. May 19, 1947, No. 13435. [Class 125(iii)] A closure, particularly for hot-water bottles and ice-bags formed of rubber or like material, comprises a resilient stopper 11 which is inserted into a more resilient re-entrant tubular element 5 formed with a plurality of internal ribs 7, and with flanges 9 and 14 which engage the lower end 10 and a groove 15 respectively of the stopper. The element 5 is preferably connected to the neck of the bottle by flexible webs as described in Specification 615,656.
