627,889. BrassiÞres. GLICK, J. Feb. 17, 1947, No. 4550. Convention date, July 10, 1946. [Class 141] In brassiÞres of the kind having a detachable one piece breast-supporting frame, means independent of the frame are provided centrally of the garment for closing the ends 17, 17<SP>1</SP> of the frame-receiving channels 13, 131 and for securing the frame against displacement from the pockets. The breast pockets 10, 101 are joined by the bridging member 20 of a frame having two curved breast supporting portions 18, 181. The corners 14, 14<SP>1</SP> of the breast pockets are connected by a strap 21 and by bands 24, the strap having a band 22 which is folded over the bridging member 20 and adjustably attached to one of the straps 24 by a hook 23 at its free end. In a modification, a strapless brassiÞre is described wherein the frame members extend around the upper portions of the breast pockets. Specification 622,157 is referred to.
