Abstract

627,662. Inhalers. METAL BOX CO., Ltd., and JACKSON, J. M. July 3, 1947, No. 17606. [Class 81(ii)] A pocket inhaler comprises a tubular body 15, closed at one end 14, and a plug 10 associated with a nostril member 11 which has an axial duct 12 extending to the vicinity of the closed end 14, the plug 10 also having ports 16 leading into the body. A cap 19 is provided which covers the nostril member and closes the air inlets 17. The body is filled with absorbent material impregnated with medicament. In an alternative form, Fig. 4 (not shown) the plug, nostril member and central tube are formed in one piece.
