Abstract

626,838. Binding-posts. CINCH MANUFACTURING CORPORATION. Sept. 5, 1947, No. 24525. Convention date, Sept. 7, 1946. [Class 38 (i)] A wiring terminal panel comprises a strip 10 of laminated fibrous material impregnated with a phenolic condensation product through which attaching portions of supports 15 and soldering terminals 16 formed from metal wire, are driven, locking portions 20 thereof being clenched over the edges of the strip. The outer ends of the terminals are formed with eyes 17 or hooks 17a. In a modified construction, Fig. 8, the terminals 26 and supports 25 have opposed legs 28, their junctions forming bight portions 27, the legs being driven through the strip 10 and the locking portions 30 thereof bent over adjacent or opposite edges of the strip. The terminals and supports may be attached to the strip by a wire stapling machine.
