[Class 51 (i)] [Also in Group XVIII] Apparatus for the restriction of the escape of gases from furnace or other pressure chamber openings comprises a door frame unit 34 with inner and outer sections 35 and 36 enclosing a sleeve 48 recessed into the inner section 35 said sleeve having air ports 49 and co-operating with a gasket 43 between said sections, and a door 45 with a window 46 mounted on pivot pins 64 about a point 71 above the centre line 58 of the door frame unit.
