Abstract

626,066. Kneading machines. LIST, H. Aug. 15, 1946, No. 24312. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Feb. 21, 1947]. [Class 86] A kneading machine has two agitators 1 and 2 which rotate about axes inclined at an angle thereby causing the agitator arms 4 to approach in the lower portion of a V-shaped mixing vessel 3 and to diverge from one another in the upper portion thereof. In a modification, a spider is loosely mounted between and has arms which interengage with those of the agitators 1 and 2. In a further modification, the arms of the two agitators lie in planes askew to the axes of the two agitators. The vessel 3 is discharged by tilting and one of the walls may be made detachable.
