Abstract

623,981. School tables. EMBRU-WERKE AKT.-GES. June 19, 1947, No. 16213. Convention date, June 22, 1946. [Class 52 (iii)] A school table has two hollow supports each comprising two fixed concentric tubes 2, 3 the inner one 3 carrying a nut 4 for a screw-threaded spindle 5 provided with a bearing 6. The upper part of the spindle is rotatably mounted within a U-shaped carrier 7 resting on the bearing 6. This carrier 7 is secured-to a movable tube 9 disposed between the fixed tubes 2, 3. The screw - threaded spindles are connected by a shaft 14 through bevel gears 8, 15 and are actuated simultaneously by a handle attached to a square end 16 of a driving spindle.
