623,926. Locking nuts. AUTOMOTIVE PRODUCTS CO., Ltd. May 30, 1947, No. 14418. Convention date, Dec. 6, 1945. [Class 89 (i)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A pipe coupling nut 15 is locked by a circlip 30 which engages ratchet teeth 31 on the nut and a flange 40 on the coupling member on which the nut screws. The circlip has terminal prongs 37 engaging holes in the flange and side portions 39 bent out of the plane of the clip which bear against the flange. The nut is released by pressing back the part 36 of the circlip.
