623,803. Pistons. STADIUM, Ltd., and HEFFORD, C. G. May 15, 1947, No. 13155. [Class 122(i)] [Also in Group XXVIII] A piston for a bicycle pump having a tubular rod 1 which may be split, is attached by forming lugs 2 on the end of the rod 1, fitting a dished washer 3 having slots therein over the lugs, followed by bending over the lugs 2. The washer 3 has a central screwed aperture for securing a cup washer 5 by means of a screw 4.
