Abstract

627,329. Cylinders. TRAPP, G. J. Jan. 14, 1947, No. 1256. [Class 122(i)] [Also in Group XXVIII] The cylinders 14 of a radial cylinder pump are each separately and detachably mounted in the pump body 12, and are located radially by spigot projections 18 which engage holes 19 in the pump body. The cylinders are clamped against the pump body by yoke pieces 20 and nuts 25 which engage studs 21 disposed between: adjacent cylinders. A flanged cover 43 is secured to the pump body by cap nuts 48 which also engage the studs 21. Specification 627,065, [Group XXVII], is referred to.
