Abstract

622,776. Sleepers. SOC. IN ACC. SEMPL. IMPRESA E. GIBELLINO MARCHETTO CONSTRUZIONI. April 3, 1947, No. 9174. Convention date, April 4, 1946. [Class 104 (ii)] Two reinforced-concrete pot sleepers 10 are connected by an embedded T-bar 1, to the flanges 1<SP>1</SP> of which are secured the boxes 2 for the railsecuring bolts 8. The boxes 2 have flanges 2<SP>1</SP> embracing and welded to the flanges 11 of the bar 1 which is formed by cutting away the head of a flange rail. The reinforcing wires 13 pass through holes in the bar 1. The boxes 2 have, beneath their upper faces, abutments to limit the rotation of the heads 7 of the bolts 8. The rail R rests on a cushion 12 of hard rubber.
