[Class 104 (ii)] Sleepers are formed of layers of cementasbestos compressed together in a soft condition and reinforced by metal bars a, b, which may be distributed in the upper part of the sleeper as shown in Fig. 4, and in lower part as shown in Fig. 5. A fluid cement may be placed between the layers.
