622,023. Induction heating. PHILIPS LAMPS, Ltd. March 3, 1947, No. 6008. Convention date, April 26, 1944. [Class 39(iii)] A high frequency induction coil 1 encloses a body of conductive and non- magnetic material, e.g. copper, in two parts 2 and 3, having recesses 5 and 6. A portion 7, of a workpiece 8 on a support 11, is located in an aperture 4 between the parts 2 and 3, which are supported on pivoted links 9 and 10. The workpiece may be rotated, and the assembly which is secured to a carrier 12, may move along the longitudinal axis of the coil.
