621,184. Vulcanizing tyres SIMON, Ltd., H., and WOODS, E. C. Jan. 6, 1947, No. 441. [Class 87 (ii)] Tyre vulcanizing-apparatus comprises two mould members a, b, respectively supported on'levers d, e pivoted on the frame f and having interengaging toothed quadrants g, h so that the mould members move towards each other in unison and counterbalance one another. The tyre with its tread ring c is placed between two half tyre rims mounted on a support i. The two mould members are forced, together against the tyre by a screw-threaded bolt m engaging the-screw-threaded pawl o in the lower mould member. A spider s is forced against the tyre rim by a nut q. The lower mould member 6 is guided on the pillars k of the support i.
