609,320. Moulding and retreading tyres. AUTO TYRE SERVICES, Ltd., and KENT, J. H. F. Oct. 9, 1945, No. 26347. [Class 87 (ii)] Apparatus for making or retreading tyres includes a rim support 21 having a fixed flange 24 and an adjustable flange 25 slidable on a circumferential seating 23. The flange 25 is adjusted in position and prevented from moving outwardly by lugs 30, . arranged around the periphery of the rim. Each of the lugs is fixed in position by a stud 31 engageable with one of three recesses 29 in a slot 28 in the rim. The flanges are extended to project to such an extent that the distance between them is not less than full width of the tyre. Specification 609,319 is referred to.
