Abstract
620,870. Rotary pumps, motors, and meters. BOGOSLOWSKY, B. Jan. 28, 1947, No. 2644. Convention date, June 28, 1939. [Class 110(ii)] The working chamber comprises a flexible tube 13 which is progressively squeezed from inlet to outlet between a fixed conical surface 12 and an inclined disc 11, or between two inclined discs. The discs are prevented from rotating by one or more balls 36, on spindles 35, which move through arcs between restraining walls 38. The tube has beads 19 secured in grooves in the members 12, 11, or the discs. The shaft 27 is prevented from axial movement by one or more collars 34. Collars 31, 32 secure the main race 29 of the bearing 30. The tube may be of rubber or other plastic material.
