620,365. Hot-air baths. CASTILLO, M. Jan. 16, 1947, No. 1470. [Class 26] [Also in Groups VI and XIV] A collapsable hot-air bath comprises telescopic heating chamber sections 1, 2, 3 slidably mounted on guide rails 5 fixed to the sides of the bath, at least one of the sections having mounted within it an air chest 24 to which a controlled supply of heated air is led by a pipe 22 and from which the air issues to the heating chamber. The sections comprise arcuate or rectangular channel-shaped members of plywood lined with asbestos and have rollers running in the guides. The pipes 22 are removably attached to each side of the central section 1 and arranged over burners 28 on stands 27. The air chests 24 communicate with ducts 25 having downwardly directed apertures 26. A thermometer 31 is provided and valves are fitted in the pipes 22. The bath has folding legs 15 and hinged adjustable head and foot sections 8, 7. Electrical heating means may be used.
