[Class 17 (ii)] A low-cut overshoe with an elastic upper 6 comprising a toe 7, side 9, and counter portions 8, which will extend to cover a range of sizes of footwear, is provided with tension means 12, 13 which extend upwardly and forwardly and rearwardly around the top edge of the toe and counter portions of the upper from the shank portion of the sole as shown, where they overlap, to assist in a snug fitting at the sides against the footwear when in use.
