Abstract

1,158,856. Boots, &c. GUSTAV HOFFMANN G.m.b.H. 29 March, 1968 [4 April, 1967], No. 15287/68. Heading A3B. A child's boot has the top edge of the upper 3 cut away at the back to form a recess 4 and has internal cushioning material in at least one of the following .regions: (a) along the top edge 5 of the upper (b) in the region 9 between the ankle, the Archilles tendon and the heel bone and (c) in the region 11 between a heel flat 10 and the lining 6. The cushions may be formed from sponge rubber and the cushions 9 and 11 may be made in a single piece. The lining 6 may be perforated where it covers the cushions 5, 9, 11 A pulling tab 13 may be provided at the bottom of the back recess 4.
