Abstract
619,480. Stoves. LONDON WARMING CO., Ltd., and FLORENCE, C. P. Dec. 12, 1946, No. 36740. [Class 126] A solid-fuel stove with closable doors having mica inserts is provided with panels movable on a vertical axis to cover spaces at the side of the stove which are adapted to accommodate the doors of the stove in open position, the panels when closed presenting a substantially uniform appearance with the rest of the stove. As shown vertically pivoted doors 6 are covered when in open position at the sides of the fireplace by hinged panels 8 which are provided with flanges 9 adapted to close the pivoted edges of the doors. A firedoor horizontally pivoted above a fireplace may be covered when in open position above the fireplace by a single panel hinged at one side (not shown).
