[Class 20(iii)] A collapsable door which comprises a series of rigid non-metallic panels, hingedly connected at their longitudinal edges, which edges are provided with mouldings sealing the joints between the panels when expanded and concealing said joints whilst the door is folded back, has a lazy tongs device connecting the tops of said panels and is supported solely by pivots at the top and bottom of one side of the door frame, being guided across the opening by one or more rollers mounted at the top of the door. In the form shown, a number of wood, synthetic resin, or the like panels 5 are hinged together at 6 to form the door, which is supported solely by pivots 4 attached to the door frame 2. Each panel is provided with a moulding 8 along one edge, so shaped as to coact with the plain edge 7 of the adjoining panel, thus sealing the door when it is closed and concealing the hinge joints during opening. A single lazy tongs device is mounted at the top of the door and comprises a series of links 10 pivotally connected at 12, the mid point of each link being pivotally connected to the panels at 11, so that during the movement of the door, the panels are maintained at equal angles with the plane of the door opening. The door is guided by a top roller 13 which engages a track 14 between guides 15 secured to the underside of the door lintel, and by a bottom roller which engages a track in the sill. In the case of a double door, the two tracks 14 are inclined at a slight angle so that, as the doors are brought together the end panels first overlap and then lock together as each roller 13 engages its seating 19.
