Abstract

618,927. Hooks. KRANTZ, H. Nov. 13, 1946, No. 33700. [Class 89 (ii)] A swivel attachment means for a hook comprises a plate 1 perforated for fixing to an article and having a raised flange 4 to receive and retain the flange 6 of a socket member 5 slotted at 7 to permit the shank 8 of the hook to swing from a vertical to a horizontal position. The socket receives the ball end 9 of the hook shank. When the article to which the hook is attached is not required to be suspended the hook can be folded flat against' the surface and rotation of the socket in the plate permits the hook to be turned so as not to project beyond the article.
