[Classes 79 (i), 79 (ii) and 79 (v)] In a tractor having a plough a with one or more mouldboards at each end thereof so that either plough may be brought into action dependent on the direction of travel, each tractor driving wheel h is driven through a pair of diametrically opposite pinions i, i<SP>1</SP>, engageable with a gear ring on the outer periphery of the wheel h, each pinion incorporating a freewheel device capable of driving in one direction only. The steering columns k, k<SP>1</SP> may be provided suitably linked with each other in fore-and-aft positions on opposite sides of the drivers seat m which is preferably reversible. The ploughs a are interconnected from brackets b by a rod c which is connected to the lower end of a pivoted lever d with a quadrant locking device.
