Abstract
613,686. Fluid-pressure servomotor-control systems. ELECTROFLO METERS CO., Ltd., and BRIDGES, J. P. June 26, 1946, No. 19107. [Class 135] [Also in Group XXIV] Linkwork for selectively connecting two nuid-pressure motors 1; 4 to a' controlled member 16, such as a valve or damper, comprises a main lever 12 pivoted at c and an auxiliary lever 10 pivoted at P to the free end of the lever 12. The motors 1, 4 are connected respectively to the pivot P and a pivot O on the auxiliary lever 10, and a link 13 for actuating the controlled member 16 through a bell-crank 14 and link 15 is pivotally connected at Q to a block 11 adapted to be slid along the lever 10 manually or by a power device 7. When the pivot Q is aligned with the pivot P, the member 16 is operated from the motor 1 which may be controlled by an automatic regulator, whilst when the pivot Q is aligned with the pivot O the operation is from the motor 4, which may be under manual control. The lever 10 may be of arcuate form or the movement of the-pivot Q may be determined by engagement of a pin in an arcuate slot in the lever.
