[Class 80 (iv)] A guard c of a fabric shearing machine having a rotary cutter b is pivotally mounted on the frame of the machine in front of the cutter to enable it to be swung into and out of operative position as required. A pivot pin c<1> on the guard is provided with a disc d with an arcuate recess d<1> which co-operates with a switch plunger e to control the driving motor circuit.
