[Class 37] A rectifier element and lead connector assembly comprises lead wires formed with headed ends, a rectifier element interposed and electrically connected between them with spring means for clamping the element and lead ends within an insulating container. In the preferred embodiment, cylindrical shell 16 of insulating material with apertured end 17 and flanged brass plate 20 contains selenium rectifier unit 7 in electrical contact, via spring 19, with circular disc enlargements 3, 3 of leads 1 and 2.
