Abstract
609,602. Projection screens. STABLEFORD, J. L. June 20, 1946, No. 18644. [Class 97 (i)] The casing of a roller blind type screen has a separate compartment for housing a collapsable stand for supporting the casing and screen in operative position. As shown, the casing 1 and lath 17 are hooked on to a telescopic stand 24, 25 with collapsable legs 36. The compartment for the collapsed stand is closed by a part 14, hinged at 15, of the end 12 of the casing. The casing is hooked to a member sliding on the member 24 and able-to be clamped at any position thereon. The hook securing the lath 17 is adjustable to permit small variations in the distance of the lath from the member 25. A double-sided screen may be provided, the casing having attachments on both sides for alternative use to bring either screen surface into use. The casing may have stowable feet for standing on a table, part of the telescope stand being used as a strut to hold the screen extended. Specifications 562,023 and 572,129 are referred to.
