Abstract

290,180. Ansermot, J. May 5, 1927, [Convention date]. Tripod stands.-A stand for photographic cameras &c. comprises a platform 6 with three hinged legs 2 each having hinged thereto a stay 8 the other ends of which are hinged to plates connected by a vertical pivot pin 13. In order to enable the legs to spread unevenly on sloping ground at least one stay is hinged t a plate rotatably secured to the corresponding leg 2 instead of being hinged directly to the leg. One leg may be of slightly greater length than the other two.
