Abstract

1,264,208. Bracket tables. J. G. VERYARD. March 24, 1970 [April 8, 1969], No.17921/69. Heading A4B and A4H. An ironing board 1 is mounted in a wall-mounted cabinet 2 for swinging movement between stowed and operation positions, the inner end of the board 1 having headed pins (16) Fig. 2 (not shown) slidably engaged in guide slots 15 carried by the sides of the cabinet 2, the board 1 being supported in use by a pair of struts 10 hinged at their ends to the board 1 and to a fixed button 11 and by a leg 20 hinged, at 21, to the board 1 so that it may fold against its underside and the board 1 being provided with a handle 14 at its inboard end to assist its folding. The cabinet is fitted with a door. Notches (19) Fig.3 (not shown) are provided at the ends of the slots 15 to locate the pins (16).
