[Class 120(iii)] In pirns for shuttles for looms employing electric weft stop motions, a flanged metal ferrule A at the end of the pirn is pressed to provide a recess 4 or projection 5, Figs. 3 and 7, respectively for engagement with a corresponding pin or slot in or on the head of the shuttle tong.
