Abstract

In the method of dyeing pile fabrics by means of a vessel for dye liquor and a roller-squeezing device adjacent thereto and adapted for continuous squeezing of excess of liquor from the said pile fabric, said squeezing device is provided with at least one roller with a removable or irremovable thicker portion at each end such that the nip space has a width equal or nearly equal to the thickness of the carpet measured from the back surface to the surface of normally standing pile.
