Abstract

607,465. Radio-receiving apparatus. KOLSTER-BRANDES, Ltd., and LOCK, C. E. Feb. 5, 1946, No. 3615. [Class 40 (v)] A screening can for a valve or other apparatus comprises an open-ended metal container 1 having attached to the surface thereof a plurality of depending spring clips 3, preferably having outwardly bent legs forming bowed portions which enter and spring into corresponding apertures 7 in a chassis 5. In a modification, Fig. 6 (not shown), the legs of the springs are provided with notches which engage the edges of the apertures in the chassis. The screening may be used to screen a valve in which case a portion of the lower edge of the can is cut-away to clear the valve-holder.
