[Class 135] [Also in Group XXVIII] A fluid flow control device comprises a body 1 having a chamber 16, with at least two inlets 17, 18, and an outlet 20, housing a rotatable plug 6, a passage 21 interconnecting the chamber and the outlet, and an ejector 26 in the outlet adjacent the outlet end of the passage. In one position, the plug allows pressure fluid, e.g. liquid, to pass from the inlet 17 via groove 30 in the plug to the outlet 20, through the ejector and venturi nozzle 28 to eject another fluid, e.g. a gas, from the inlet 18 via the groove 29 and the passage 21. On rotating the plug through 90 degrees, pressure fluid passes from the inlet 17 to the port 18. The device may be employed to exhaust of air, and then fill with liquid, a container, e.g. a vehicle tyre, connected to the inlet 17.
